Results
As can be seen in the comments section to the last post, there is an obvious tie in "Engagement Photo Draft 2007." Numbers 1 and 7 both received 10 votes, with #8 holding up the third spot with 7 votes and #4 rounding out the top vote getters.
The advisory board has deliberated and will not decide on the overall winner yet. The top photos will now be sent to the amazing Marika Pedersen who will determine which of the top photos works best with her design. (I hope Marika is OK with this idea, I haven't run it past her yet)
Thank you all for voting and tune in next year for "Sonogram Draft 2008."
By the way, would anyone vote for MY favorite photo?

From Draft Headquarters: Provo, UT
What better way to begin a new family blog than with "Engagement Photo Draft 2007". After months of training, pro combines, and 3-cone drills-- the 'elite eight' photos (out of at least 4,000) remain. Each participant, (i.e. you the viewer), may submit 1 [one] vote for your favorite photo.
Note that photos 1-6 have been scanned in using BYU's ten year old scanners. The quality is a bit lacking; you will just have to trust us that the original quality is far superior to these images.
I wanted the voting to be done through the web page by a simple click, but my html code is rusty. So, make your final decision FIRST. Then, click on the comments tab at the end of this blog and post your final selection. I want my results to be independent, so don't look at others posts until you have made a decision!
The votes will be tallied at midnight on Wednesday, February 28; barring a 'judges indecision' the champion will be announced on Thursday at noon. At 12:05 pm Commissioner Stern will escort the winner to the media room where they will be available for questioning. In the event of an indecision, the final two photos will be reposted on this blog for further analysis.
Thank you for your help and happy voting.
Andrew and Lauren
