a breakthrough

Sorry, not a lot of time for blogging these days.

We had a breakthrough last week. Luke finally ate spaghetti. The only pasta he ever ate before this was lasagna and even then it was never a guarantee he would eat it. The fact that Luke added something to his food repertoire instead of outcasting it was such a relief...you have no idea. I had to take pictures.

Don't you just love how Luke's hair is wildly curly except for his straight bangs?! But I recently cut it and I think its looking a little less 80's now.

and some other pictures...

Marshmellow mateys have never been outcasted from his "list". Notice that he only eats the marshmellows and leaves the rest in a nice pile on the table.

With Andrew's red sauce, who wouldn't eat it!!! What a cutie!!! And that curly hair!!! Oh, I love it. Let me know if he needs a friend to play with today, cause I'm game :)

1. I'm sure Andrew is pleased about this. I know with all the yummy pastas David makes he would be pretty bummed if Harry didn't eat them! 2. His hair is AWESOME!!!!! 3. Harry is also mischievous when it come to marshmallow mateys! I think every kid picks out the marshmallows. They know the good stuff!

While I am excited for you, I'm sad to say that Luke stole Logan's love for spaghetti and I'm trying not to be bitter. It used the be THE one and only thing that Logan would eat, and now he won't touch the stuff! If we're lucky he will eat only plain noodles without sauce. So yay for Luke and eating something new - but I want my spaghetti-lovin' baby boy back! :)

i loved it when you let me hang out with luke. those are the times that make life fun. in fact, that day, you asked at the perfect time. i didn't know what to do with myself and was feeling a little lonely :) so, really, thanks to you for letting him come over!

Awesome. Always good when you have a meal you know they'll eat. Especially one that is quick to make. The hair is so cute. I wish my kids had curls like that. I can kinda see what you mean about the 80's hair in the second pic. Reminds me (very faintly) of the airline ticket guy in the Wedding Singer with Luke's straight bangs, except way cuter (of course).
