Life's Regrets

[Andrew]

In the wake of what I consider the best television ever, and after 3 days to properly soak in all the intricate plots, subplots, details, underpinnings, and morals of LOST and its fabulous finale, one emotion continues to scourge my psyche: regret.

In my life I can only think of three things that I regret...three. I am not saying I have only done three regretful things, only that these three are the things that I cannot forget.

1- Winning fewer ribbons than Phil T. in the Westwood elementary 5th grade field day in 1993.
2- Not starting a fight and getting thrown out of the BYU vs. Arizona game in 2006 after my punt returner, and good friend, was intentionally speared before the ball touched his hands.
3- Not convincing more of my family and friends to watch LOST so they could have experienced the unforgettable ride in real time.

To those who did not see or did not appreciate this final season, forgive me!

Hey I thought about calling you guys after the finale! Did you know we watched all the seasons in about a year? I think it was a year. That's a lot of LOST! I think you were the ones who really convinced us to watch it. I also liked the finale - we liked the whole idea that they were all flawed and got a second chance. Gotta love LOST, I think I'll probably watch the entire 6 seasons again in a few years. By the way, miss you guys!

I can't believe the Orange Paint Incident didn't make this list.

And Virtual Drew could've taken Phil T.
