NINE years ago today, me and this hunk had our first date.
[note: pictures are NOT from our first date...I was way too shy to take pictures on the first date]
I've often wondered how two people could change so much over the coarse of several years and still have so much in common [think about who YOU were dating when you were 18]. All I know is that after dating Andrew, I compared every other guy I ever dated to him [old roomies, you are not allowed to laugh at that statement] but he was always #1 in my book. I wouldn't be who I am today without him. He was definitely worth the wait.
Seriously, those two people in the picture...they really have no clue what they're in for.
Today is a crazy busy day, but hopefully we'll still have time to dance to the song we danced to on our first date [cheezy I know...unfortunately it was a Backstreet Boys song...not really a timeless classic...but it was the year 2000 so I feel no shame].

Whew! You forgot to mention what a rough 9 years it was for your families...they're together (yay!)... they're apart (sob!)...together (yay!)...apart (sob!)... for 9 YEARS!!! This is an anniversary we family members like to celebrate as well, because it turned out so well!
