The way Cams looks in this red hat (made by Grandma)
The time that we set up a little play tent in Luke's room and when I checked on him in the middle of the night I discovered that he had crawled in there to sleep. Also, I want to remember that ever since Christmas he will not sleep without the Christmas lights on in his room. Don't know how we'll ever break him of that.
The way the morning light slants across the room when Luke is in his pj's on the couch. On mornings when he wakes up super early we always have the ipad ready with shows to watch or games to play so we can get a little extra sleep.
How much powdered sugar Luke would like on his waffles every morning. Please note that this amount is typically not granted. I was just curious one day to know how much would be adequate in his eyes....Yikes!
The way Luke and Cams are constantly wrestling. They just can't stay away from each other sometimes. One day, Cams is going to win...
Luke and his "handy dandy notebook" (which he actually pronounces as his "hanny hanny notebook". He is going through a major Blues Clues phase right now. He goes around the house singing, "...we can do any-thing- that we wanna do....bye- bye, see you later, next time...". Sometimes he will find something like a little rock and say, "Look Mom! A Clue!", then he pretends to write it down in his handy dandy notebook. He kills me with cuteness.
The way Cams hair curled up in the back....before I had to cut it so he wouldn't have an out of control baby mullet.
How excited little kids are to see ducks
The way all of Cam's socks look at this point in time. He STILL refuses to walk (even though he has the physical capacity to) but he also LOVES playing outside. Which means he crawls everywhere and gets extremely dirty. But you try telling this little man that he can't play in the dirt... I dare you!
The way Luke always manages to find a quick hiding place for his favorite toys when he realizes a friend is coming over.
When Luke put peanut butter on each of his fingers and called it his nail polish (he had watched me put on nail polish the day before and found it very funny).

they are SOOOO cute, Lauren! LOVE this post!
Your pictures are darling. You don't need to break Luke of the Christmas light thing. Whitney is still sleeping with her mini-tree in her room.... lights on, of course. Luckily, the tree is artificial so we won't burn down the joint.
Love, love, LOVED this post!
And Blues Clues is great!
Dah! These are all perfect! What wonderful memories to keep. I laughed out loud at the peanut butter as painting his nails because I just painted mine in front of L and he found it incredibly fascinating as well. So funny! And my favorite thing about Luke is his hiding spots for her treasures - especially when a friend is coming over. I miss him hiding toys at our house to keep L from playing with them. I miss you ...
